I don’t believe you. You say you don’t resent, but why else would you ghost? Why else would you tell me not to say certain things? When you say I haven’t offended, what I hear is your refusal to forgive, which you do not admit, because you do not like to think of yourself as someone who doesn’t forgive.

Also, I thought I’d clarify because your text suggests maybe this didn’t get across—they were past feelings I was confessing, not present. I’m disappointed you say they shouldn’t be spoken because thoughts are interesting, and I dream of an honest culture. That said, my confession was driven by self-condemnation, and so there is a “shouldn’t have been
