The pressure to silence
The speech that slips out
As we obey and disobey at the same time
Like Harry Potter breaking his knees
I mean really, if we could heal so easily, would we worry so much about the possibility?
He could have broken his knees and everybody would be like “whoops. Take him to the hospital wing”
It would hurt though, even if it doesn’t kill…but I doubt the premise that the pain would be as severe if there were not the expectation of harm.
