Divorce isn’t against the heart of the old Christian Church tradition/doctrine of no devoice;

Christ bids us not to give up on our relationships, to put the priority of loving the other as central to our salvation.

Sometimes, our moral instinct leads us astray; leads us not to speak our minds for fear that it will hurt the other

This pushes it into the unconscious, in a place where the ego now holds tight to the belief in attack, and retribution becomes the mo of the suppressed idea, attacking the object that one meant to protect with unconscious motivations…or maybe not so unconscious, but ignored anyway, for constantly changing reasons,
