It’s all about perception. None of it is about knowing, it’s all about, “you don’t know”. Knowing is like taking a step. It causes movement towards the light. Otherwise it’s a stone outside of a building, unused, useless except to trip over.
Knowing should be a movement toward God. Without that feeling, without that perception, what marks it as true? At best, outside the experiential justification, there’s only gossip, there’s only second-hand verification, which, if it didn’t inspire the feeling, it hadn’t any active value, only potential. There is always the potential for the stagnant to move.
